We can see from two perspectives - one, from the Navanayakas for animals and another for human beings. Since the swine flu originated from animal, let us take animals also into consideration. Among the Navanayakas, Senadhipathi is the ruler of animals. The lord of the day of Simha-sankramana is the Senadhipathi. For the current year it is the Sun.
